The agency lists different approaches from I-80, including Exit 106 via Dallas County Road P-58 and F-60 and, for westbound traffic, an option through Exit 113 and County Road R-16.
A marked detour is the starting point, not the end of a commercial route review. Confirm the truck's dimensions and weight, the customer's preferred approach, local turning space, and any restrictions that apply beyond the state highway.
The route should be communicated before the driver leaves I-80. Once a truck enters a local street network, correcting a missed turn can be harder than accepting the official detour from the beginning.
